Adriana & Sean’s Silverthorne Wedding

Party of Two traveled to Silverthorne, Colorado in August for a very special wedding. Adriana and Sean had an intimate wedding high in the mountains at the Silverthorne Town Pavilion. They invited their wedding party to stay for the week in an Airbnb rented lodge which sits on forty gorgeous acres with a spectacular view of the mountains. Guests were greeted with a canvas tote welcome bag designed by the groom and they were stuffed with goodies for the week. Party of Two designed a custom wedding weekend itinerary and a wedding party timeline to include in the bags.

The venue was surrounded by natural greenery and beautiful mountains so we wanted to play into those colors by adding heather grey, dusty blue and navy to create a light and airy atmosphere. Décor consisted of farm tables and mahogany chairs from Colorado Tents and Events dressed with greenery from local florist, Pots & Petals. Adriana and Sean made DIY centerpieces out of geometric terrariums. Party of Two dressed the head table and dessert table utilizing inventory from our own collection. The head table had a dusty blue runner down the center with greenery and scattered gold candlestick holders with ivory candles. The watercolor place cards for the head table were designed by Once Upon a Lettering. Our team also designed the menus for each place setting. The dessert table consisted of an assortment of cupcakes, cookies, donuts and a two-tier naked cake. We used a variety of displays to give the table character and dimension.

The ceremony was held in the mezzanine of the pavilion with an abundance of natural lighting and a nature backdrop. The ceremony was officiated by the couple’s friend who tailored the readings to perfectly represent Adriana and Sean. Afterwards, guests enjoyed an indoor/outdoor cocktail hour in the lobby. The wedding party entered the reception dancing to Congratulations by Post Malone which kicked off the party. A Cuban dinner was catered by Denver’s Cuba Cuba. After toasts were made, the party lit up by a series of choreographed dances (all choreographed by the bride!) followed by an open dance floor which ended in a confetti pop. The couple did a grand sparkler exit.
